Semple Fraser recruits two
Commercial law firm Semple Fraser LLP has appointed solicitors Rebecca Mills and Rhian Owen to its Manchester team.
Mills and Owen join Semple Fraser's corporate group and will work with clients covering the property sector including Peel Group, Land Securities and Tesco Stores.
Both solicitors will also be providing advice to those working in the renewables and energy sector, among other industry sectors such as finance, life sciences, waste, and digital.
Mills joins from DLA, while Owen previously worked at Geldards LLP. The two are arriving to Semple Fraser during a period of growth for the firm.
Although figures could not be disclosed, Semple Fraser said turnover associated with its Manchester office had quadrupled during the 2010 and 2011 financial year.
Alister Fraser, managing partner at Semple Fraser, said: "We have been experiencing a steady improvement in sales over the past 18 months and we go into the new financial year a stronger, more capable and more collaborative firm. Our Manchester office has grown rapidly since it's inception at the end of 2009 and has allowed us both to deliver services to a wider client base, as well as provide our existing clients with an increased service range in England."
