School art materials supplier moves to Midpoint 18

Pochin Developments has secured a deal to dispose of a warehouse and office unit at its business park in Middlewich, Cheshire to Creative Arts Products.

Creative Arts has taken the 31,085 sq ft unit 10 at Dalton Way on a 15-year lease. The company will be relocating its 40-strong workforce from Holmes Chapel to Middlewich in January. The park is already home to Tesco, Wincanton, Scottish Power and APS Salads.

Creative Arts Products, trading as Scolaquip, is the primary supplier of art materials to the UK education sector and exports to over 40 countries worldwide. The company handles the distribution of the Crayola colour range, as well as managing the manufacture of a range of products for Berol and distributing them throughout Europe, Scandinavia and the Far East.

John Reynard, managing director of Creative Arts, commented: "With over 40 staff based across two locations, working conditions were fast becoming cramped and our need to relocate soon became a priority. We began negotiations with commercial agents Lamont, and with the assistance of Pochin's we were able to secure an ideal location for the security and long term future of the company."
