Salford University/Capita to make graduates ‘business wise’
Salford-based Urban Vision has launched its 'Business Wise' graduate programme in a joint venture with Salford University and Capita Symonds.
The scheme, the first of its kind in the UK, is aimed at providing students with the core business skills required to assist with their individual career development and meet employers' needs.
The two-year course is aimed at graduates ready to progress in their career, as well as other experienced professionals without a degree. Successful completion of the programme leads to a postgraduate certificate in 'Business Performance Management' from the University of Salford.
Key business skills taught on the course include effective management, commercial success, responsible business practice and leadership and empowerment
