Royal Mail signs in Leyland
On behalf of clients Bracken Developments, surveyor Davies Harrison has let the final unit at Tomlinson Point in Leyland to Royal Mail.
The postal service agreed a rolling lease at £3.50/sq ft on a 17,500 sq ft unit.
John Harrison, partner at Davies Harrison, said: "This unit will act as an overflow to the Royal Mail's existing facilities, which are situated very close by. Bracken has carried out a refurbishment of several units on the estate to a very good standard and we are pleased to have secured such a strong covenant for our client. This latest letting serves to further demonstrate that the confidence from the occupier market appears to be gradually improving, which encourages a more positive outlook for an improving economy."
