Rise at Seven signs for Manchester HQ
The digital marketing agency has left its Sheffield roots to take 5,100 sq ft at 40 Princess Street.
The Manchester office comprises the entire seventh floor of the building, which is owned by Wittington Investments. It will act as Rise at Seven’s global headquarters and will be home to a projected 100 employees.
Rise at Seven’s new base is fully fitted and sees the firm joining neighbours PRP Architects and Node. The five-year letting means that there is 7,200 sq ft of fitted space available in the building.
Savills and OBI are joint agents on 40 Princess Street and acted for Wittington Investments on the deal.
Daniel Barnes, director in the office agency team at Savills Manchester, said: “The 7th floor at 40 Princess Street presents exceptionally well.
“We worked closely with Wittington Investments to deliver a high‑quality fitted space, which had an immediate impact on levels of interest and resulted in the space leasing quickly,” he continued.
“As anticipated, the quality of the accommodation has driven a noticeable uplift in demand.”
As for Rise at Seven, the group said that the new space will see it trebling its presence in Manchester. It also reflects on Manchester’s continued appeal to occupiers. This is also evidenced by the Manchester Office Agents Forum report for the first quarter of 2026, which saw 286,000 sq ft of space transacted – a figure in line with the city’s five-year average.
Manchester was chosen for the headquarters due to its proximity to the “UK’s strongest digital talent pool,” according to Rise at Seven. The city is also easier for Rise at Seven’s global client base, which includes Red Bull, JD Sports, and Capital One, to access.
“Sheffield was where we started – hungry, ambitious, building something from nothing,” said Rise at Seven founder and chief executive Carrie Rose.
Reflecting on the decision to focus on Manchester, Rose said: “Manchester has always been at the heart of Rise. This move gives us the space to keep building something that matters – not just for our team, but for the brands we work with globally. We’re proud to be planting our flag here.”
In addition to its Manchester HQ, Rise at Seven has offices in London and New York City.
