Regatta HQ starts on site

Caddick Construction has been awarded the £7m contract to build the new head office for the outdoor clothing retailer whose brands include Regatta, Dare2b, Craghoppers and Hawkshead.

Regatta's existing industrial warehouse in Trafford Park will be converted into a 60,000 sq ft corporate office, due to be completed by March 2015.

Steve Pitts, project manager at Caddick Construction, commented: "There is a lot of excitement on the ground, in particular from Regatta's staff as they will see their previous building begin to change and take shape over the next few months."

Architect Fletcher Rae and interior designer, Space Invader, advised Regatta.
