Redsun strengthens board
Redsun Developments has promoted Nick Wightman to director as the company continues to expand its portfolio of new projects.
Wightman worked at the North West Development Agency from 2008 to 2011 before joining Redsun in August 2011. Wightman becomes the third director, alongside managing director and majority shareholder, Craig Booton, and Mike Ostrowski, whose other business interests include car dealership Clare James Automotive.
Redsun currently has over 230,000 sq ft of commercial floorspace under construction across 14 acres with three live development sites throughout Merseyside.
The first phase of innovate:speke at Venture Point business park in Speke Liverpool completed in October, with the second phase on track to complete shortly. Occupiers have been secured for all fours units, with further announcements expected in the coming weeks following confirmation of deals with Studiocare and Killer Ink.
Turbine Business Park adjacent to Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead is under construction with its first phase close to completion. Three of the four units on the first phase have deals agreed with occupiers and construction of the second phase is well underway with steelwork erected for the remaining units.
Preparatory works have started at Canada Dock Exchange, Redsun’s latest development, in north Liverpool. Planning applications have been lodged for more developments programmed for delivery in 2016.
