Redsun plans first development in Knowsley
Redsun Developments has acquired a two-acre site in Huyton Business Park and submitted a detailed planning application for a 35,000 sq ft industrial development to Knowsley Council.
Construction is expected to begin later this year, with the completed development being available for occupiers in early 2017.
Huyton Business Park is located at the Tarbock Interchange of the M57 and M62 and is home to a number of high profile manufacturers and trade operators including Halewood International, Travis Perkins, Screwfix, Howdens Joinery and Toolstation.
Nick Wightman, director, Redsun Developments said: “Huyton Business Park is somewhere we’ve been looking at for a while now. It’s in a great location but the quality of existing buildings is very poor. By delivering a quality product into this location we expect to attract some high calibre occupiers and are already in advanced talks with one such company looking for space to expand.”
Bilfinger GVA is the agent.
Redsun has recently completed similar developments in Speke, Birkenhead and Bootle with detailed planning consents secured for a further 300,000 sq ft of commercial floorspace to be delivered across the North West over the next 12 months.
