Redsun adds to Bromborough industrial pipeline
In its latest application for the area off Riverbank Road, the developer has brought forward plans to build five industrial units totalling nearly 50,000 sq ft on a vacant site in Bromborough.
Designed by architect C4 Projects, the five units range between 19,300 sq ft to 6,000 sq ft and will be delivered across two single-storey buildings.
The developer’s outline application is for a site near wider industrial and retail uses, off Stadium Road and near Bromborough’s retail park.
It adds to previous plans by Redsun to build three industrial units totalling nearly 77,000 sq ft, which were approved by Wirral Council in December last year. The developer has also previously secured consent for two further units in February 2018.
Redsun has been among the most active industrial developers in the region in recent years, with projects including the Power Station at Wirral International, Hooton Park in Ellesmere Port and Canada Dock in North Liverpool.
