Rankin promoted to director at OFR
Manchester office lead Richard Rankin has earned a spot on the board at the fire engineering practice after five years with the company.
Rankin’s promotion from associate director to director at OFR was one of several at the national consultancy, which also has offices in Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oxford, Bath, and London.
Other new board members include Stewart Dabin and Jack Wilshaw in the London office and Danny Hopkin from the Oxford branch.
Speaking about the promotions Lucy Kirkup, HR director at OFR, said: “Each new board member is impassioned and dedicated to our mission of creating safer and more sustainable new structures across the built environment, and we look forward to working together in this new era for OFR.”
Within the Manchester office, OFR has also recruited Christian Whilde and Budmika Karuna Pathirajage as graduate fire engineers.
OFR now boasts a staff of more than 120.
Recent projects for the company include the conversion of the grade two-listed St John the Evangelist in Blackburn into an innovation hub, a £38m extension for The Manchester College, and 72 homes in Rusholme.
