AspinallVerdi opens Manchester office
The development consultancy has launched operations from a new base at 82 King Street, adding to its Liverpool office within the region.
Opening in Manchester adds to AspinallVerdi’s established network, which also includes its Leeds HQ, along with London, Newcastle and Birmingham.
Taking desks in co-working space run by Regus reflects the continued growth of the business, the firm said. AspinallVerdi now has a team of 31, delivering consultancy services to public and private sector clients nationwide.
The Manchester office is led by associate director Tom Smith, who joined AspinallVerdi in June 2024 from a development management role at Stockport Mayoral Development Corporation.
Smith is joined by consultant Leighanna O’Farrell, who joined in January 2025 from a role at Greater Manchester Combined Authority, where she was seconded to Stockport MDC.
The pair have built a pipeline of business since joining AspinallVerdi, with current instructions including viability advice on the evolving Stockport Design Code; commercial advice to a BDP-led masterplan in Blackburn and strategic land advice in Bury.
AspinallVerdi’s North West business is headed up, mainly from the Liverpool bae at 1 Mann Island, by ex-Colliers and LSH man Andy Delaney, who joined the firm in 2019.
Delaney said: “AspinallVerdi has been growing its presence in the North West region and with our growing portfolio of work, it is only right that the next phase of our growth is a permanent base in in the heart of Manchester.”
