Plans in for Pendleton Grange

Carlisle-based housebuilder Story Homes has submitted plans for a 130-home development on land off Henthorn Road in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

The mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties will include 30% affordable homes, designated for local people.

The scheme off Henthorne Road already has outline planning approval for residential development on the site, with other residential developments ongoing on sites next door.

Plans have now been submitted by Story Homes for a development of new family homes in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

Paul Fenton, assistant planner at Story Homes, said: “We have sought feedback from the local community and comments made have been taken on board within our submitted designs and plans. We are well known for designing and building homes which contribute to the character of the local area and our scheme in Clitheroe will bring with it a number of benefits for the local community.”

Financial contributions for education will be made where required and a package of improvements to footpaths, cycle paths and highways will be tied into a travel plan for the area.
