Paloma Capital starts Crossley Park refurb
The landlord has started work on a £2m remodelling and refurbishment of its warehouses off the A6 in Heaton Chapel, Stockport.
Located on Crossley Road, the estate is made up of 300,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation. The works will see the front of the estate remodelled, and a comprehensive refurbishment of blocks 1-3, which includes new roofs being added to 80,000 sq ft of vacant units.
These units are the only vacant space at the park. The internal and external refurbishment works will provide tenants with dedicated loading and car parking areas, electrically operated roller shutter doors and new offices.
The investment follows an announcement by SNM Pipelines that it is to take more space within the estate, taking a further 11,500 sq ft at £5/sq ft.
Mark Sillitoe, director at Williams Sillitoe, joint agent for the scheme with Knight Frank, said: “Crossley Park is a proven business location. Paloma’s decision to invest in the park will bring much-needed industrial space to the South Manchester area and we will be offering high quality accommodation to meet occupiers’ needs.”
Jeremy Collin, director at Paloma Capital, added: “Having acquired the scheme in 2016, we are pleased to see our upgrade plans being put into place.
“In addition we have been working with Vine Property Management to improve the management policy for the park and we hope our overall plans will attract high calibre businesses in addition to the numerous successful businesses that currently operate here.”
SNM Pipelines was unrepresented.
