Northern Trust sells Fylde land to Create Homes

After securing outline consent for 40 houses on the plot, Northern Trust has completed the sale of a four-acre site in Pilling to developer Create Homes.

Northern Trust completed the sale after completing a reserved matters application for the site; Create will now bring forward a 37-home development including a mix of two, three, and four bed houses.

The first phase of building works near Poulton-le-Fylde is now under way following the land sale, with the first properties available to be bought off-plan by the end of the year.

Create’s development in Pilling continues its expansion in Lancashire, with the company having acquired its fifth site in South Ribble in July this year.

It has previously delivered two sites in Inskip, and has begun work to build houses on a former equestrian centre in Longton, around four miles from Preston.

Stephen Glenn, land executive at Northern Trust commented “We have worked closely with Create Homes and Wyre Council on bringing this site forward for future development, and we are now looking forward to seeing this exciting new scheme come to life.”
