Zerum hires Goodwin Construction project lead

Zerum has hired Goodwin Construction’s head of projects Richard Kelly as a senior project manager, where he will work alongside Shaun Taylor on the delivery of St Michael’s in Manchester.

Kelly started his new role this month having joined from Goodwin, and his previous jobs include a development management role at Select Property, and at Mace as a project manager in the consultant’s Manchester team.

At Zerum, Kelly will work on the St Michael’s scheme, where Zerum is acting as project manager. The £200m project, designed by Hodder + Partners and backed by ex-footballers Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Manchester City Council, developer Brendan Flood, Singaporean funder Rowsley, and Beijing Construction Engineering Group.

Kelly will work alongside fellow Select Property alumnus Shaun Taylor on the scheme; Taylor joined Zerum from Select in June last year as projects director.

Andrew Duffy, divisional director for Zerum Project Management said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard at the start of an exciting year for the Zerum Project Management division. Richard has very strong residential experience and will continue to specialise in this sector.  We will continue to grow our PM team and continue to provide a first-class service to our clients.

Earlier this month, planner Stephen Gill left Zerum to join GVA How after around 11 months with the company.
