UPS lined up for Panattoni Park

The global delivery business has agreed to take a 280,000 sq ft shed, making the Bolton estate fully let.

Panattoni Park is currently under development by the developer of the same name. Work started early this year on 360,000 sq ft across two buildings.

The other building, an 80,000 sq ft unit, had been pre-let to Hermes.

Place North West understands that fit-out work for both occupiers is underway, with completion expected at the end of August.

Located on a 21.7-acre brownfield site off Great Bank Road on the Wingates Industrial Estate near Junction 6 of the M61, TSL Projects has been responsible for the delivery of the scheme, which was designed by AEW Architects.

Panattoni, which is headed in the region by ex-DB Symmetry man Dan Burn, has been active in a regional market short on supply.

In March, the business triggered the start of a 305,000 sq ft speculative development in Crewe, its second scheme at Crewe Commercial Park – the first, Crewe240, was fully let to fuel and food distributor NWF in 2020.

DTRE, Knight Frank and Savills are letting agents on Panattoni Park.

All parties were approached for comment.

I feel so sorry for the residents of Old Churches Gate (Greensmith Way/Hardy Close) and Holden Lea who have been impacted by this monster of a building, far exceeding the footprint of it’s predecessor, Bernsteins.
#BeKind?! #BeGreedyBoltonCouncilNIMBYs more like it
I’m sick of being part of their “family” ~ the way in which Westhoughton has been overdeveloped & dessimated is a disgrace.
