The practice has hired Leanne Wookey as its director of interiors, based in its Manchester office.
Wookey joins from interior design firm No Chintz, also based in Manchester, where she worked for nearly nine years. Clients she has previously worked with include Bruntwood, Peel, Capital & Centric, and AstraZeneca.
In her new role, she will lead the interiors team with a specialism focussing on commercial interiors, including offices and student accommodation.
TP Bennett, which employs 300 people in the UK, opened a Manchester office at Royal Mills in 2014.
Wookey said: “I am really excited to be part of TP Bennett at such an exciting time for the practice. The Manchester team is going from strength to strength and it feels like a dynamic start up, but with the backing of almost 100 years of the TP Bennett brand.
Leigh Dimelow, Principal Director for TP Bennett in the Northern regions, added: “It’s great to have Leanne on board heading up our Interiors team in the regions. Following our acquisition of Strive design team [based in Leeds] we now have a team of 21. Leanne brings a wealth of experience in commercial workspace, student accommodation and retail and hospitality which complements our existing team.”
