Spinningfields PR goes to MC2

The property PR team at MC2 has continued a strong run of account wins with the appointment by Allied London to handle communications about the next phase of Spinningfields in Manchester.

Michael Ingall, chief executive of Allied London LLP, said: "MC2 won the pitch to support Allied London in a highly competitive process. The team had a key USP in that they demonstrated the ability to communicate clear brand messaging and will be offering us support more akin to corporate advisers. MC2 recently won the account handle the PR across the North for surveyor Lambert Smith Hampton and picked up developer-contractor Pochin's PR and marketing brief.

Allied plans new commercial buildings, the creation of new retail and leisure districts, and the growth of its independent property management arm, Capital Properties UK.

MC2 also won the contract to handle the PR for Allied's New Dock in Leeds.
