Smith & Sons employs two consultants
Wirral-based Smith & Sons has appointed two consultants to support the commercial team and provide expertise in commercial development and building surveying.
Both John Crowley and Ian Raffe will work alongside former Smith & Sons managing partner Peter Bowskill to support the commercial team.
Raffe is currently a director of Parklodge Developments which led the development of the Travelodge hotel on the A41 in Brombrough, Wirral.
A chartered quantity surveyor, Raffe also used to be a director of Chapelgate Developments, working on a number of developments throughout the 1990s including the Warner Village cinema on Europa Boulevard in Birkenhead, which is now a Vue cinema, owned by SBC International Cinemas.
He will provide consultancy for new customers at Smith & Sons and currently advises the firm on the management and development of a number of sites across the North West.
Chartered building surveyor Crowley is a former director at Atisreal and was chairman of the RICS working group for surveys of commercial and industrial property, involved in overseeing guidance for surveyors and clients within the property industry.
He will advise Smith & Sons on a range of larger schemes across the North West.
