SilverDoor eyes new year for Lancaster move

The serviced apartments provider has appointed TSK Group to fit out Charter House, its 15,000 sq ft head office.

SilverDoor bought the Dalton Square property early last year but the Covid-19 pandemic has delayed the company’s move.

Now, the firm has its sights set on moving in early next year, relocating from Lancaster’s Telephone House on Fenton Street in the west of the city.

Marcus Angell, founder and chairman of SilverDoor, said: “This will be the most significant commercial office development the city has had in years. We’re delighted to be partnering with TSK as they help us develop a world class office that will attract and retain the best talent.”

The office will house SilverDoor’s account management, partner relations, finance, human resources, IT and marketing departments, and will complement the company’s other five offices in London, Singapore, Denver, Madrid and Hyderabad.

The new office, which will feature pool tables, “will focus on social connection, with a large investment in technology”, according to TSK.

The contractor’s other projects include workspace fit out for BLM at New Bailey in Salford and Deloitte at WeWork’s Hanover Building site in Manchester.
