Savills recruits from BNP Paribas

Real estate advisor Savills has expanded its building consultancy team in the North West with the appointment of Phil Barmby as director.

Barmby will be based at the company's Manchester office on Booth Street and joins Savills with over 15 years experience in the property industry.

He was previously head of building consultancy at BNP Paribas Real Estate's Manchester office.

At Savills, Barmby will focus on providing building consultancy and project management advice for private clients and funds working closely with the existing team in Manchester and the wider national building consultancy department.

Howard Morgan, head of building consultancy for Savills in the north, said: "Phil has an established and well-respected reputation in the North West property market and will be a great asset to our already strong building consultancy team."
