Sanguine appoints general manager for Days Inn

Leisure developer Sanguine Hospitality has appointed Paris D'Allessandro as general manager for the Days Inn hotel in Liverpool, ahead of its opening in February 2011.

Twenty seven year old D'Allessandro joins the firm from Jury's Inn Liverpool where he held the position of deputy general manager.

With 11 years industry experience, D'Allessandro has worked at several city centre hotels including Marriott and Premier Inn.

The 154-bed Days Inn hotel is currently under construction on James Street and will be Sanguine Hospitality's European flagship hotel when it opens, as well as it being the firm's first hotel in Liverpool.

Nick Taplin, managing director at Sanguine Hospitality, said: "As the group expands into Liverpool it was very important we appointed a general manager who knows the market inside out and there is nothing Paris does not know about Liverpool's hotel industry.

D'Allessandro added: "It's a very exciting time to be a part of what Sanguine Hospitality is creating, the team is fantastic and there's plenty of scope for me to input my own ideas and experience to ensure Days Inn Liverpool gets off to a flying start."

Liverpool-based architects Falconer Chester Hall designed the hotel.

Days Inn hotels are independently owned and operated under franchise agreements with Days Inns Worldwide, a subsidiary of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation.
