Quinta appoints development director
The Altrincham-based developer and land agency has appointed Neal Hunter, who has worked in a similar role at Great George Street Developments in Liverpool for the past two years.
Hunter, who becomes the fourth member of the Quinta Group team, has experience developing residential and mixed-use projects. In his role as development director, he will assist with the delivery of the company’s £20m pipeline as well as identifying new opportunities across the North West and the Midlands.
The appointment marks a return to Altrincham for Hunter, who spent more than a decade as a director at local firm Merepark Developments after starting his career as an architectural assistant.
Hunter said: “It is certainly a new experience to start a job in lockdown mode but I am really looking forward to returning to Altrincham.
“This is a challenge in which I will be using all my skills working with key consultants to nurture projects through the design and development process, along with securing new opportunities for the company to develop.”
Quinta managing director Alexander Clarke said: “We needed someone with Neal’s expertise in the sector, particularly with his architectural and design background, to oversee the development of sites and properties as we take on more schemes.”
Quinta is working to revamp several properties and sites in Altrincham at present, including a redevelopment of St Johns Medical Centre, which it bought for £1.25m last October.
