Paul Crook has joined the board of the Cheshire-based property surveying and consultancy services company.
Crook has more than 20 years of experience in operational management. Prior to retiring in 2021, he was the chief operating officer at retail merchandising services company RMS. Prior to that he worked with management consultancy PCA Services and was group chief executive of property management company Mainstay Group.
Crook will help Pennington Choices with its strategic business planning and operational management.
Pennington Choices managing director Mark Seaborn previously worked for Crook 25 years ago. At that time, Crook had been Seaborn’s line manager at PSEC PLC.
“He was undoubtedly the best manager I worked for, and I am confident his expertise will make a significant difference to our business,” Seaborn said about Crook.
“We are looking forward to him bringing a renewed sense of purpose around organisational discipline and additional competence around our ongoing growth”.
Crook said that he was “thrilled” to join the Pennington Choices board.
He commented: “This is a great opportunity for me to use my business planning and operational experience and expertise in the FM, consultancy, residential and commercial property management, and building services sectors to help increase Pennington Choice’s continued growth plans.”

It has a staff of experts in property compliance, strategic asset management, building surveying and quantity surveying. The company has offices in Warrington, Wrexham, London, Glasgow, and Sheffield.
