McLaughlin moves up to group role at Capita

Capita Real Estate & Infrastructure has appointed Deborah McLaughlin, the former regional director of the Homes & Communities Agency, as managing director of its real estate projects business.

McLaughlin joined Capita subsidiary GL Hearn as head of its Manchester office in September 2016. In stepping up to the Capita group role, she will take on responsibility for more than 500 people spanning project management, architecture, design and engineering.

She brings over 30 years’ experience working in housing, real estate and regeneration. Towards the end of her eight-year spell with the HCA, she spent a year on secondment as chief executive of Manchester Place, the collaboration between the agency and Manchester City Council.
