Manchester-headquartered law firm Linder Myers has appointed an operations director as the firm continues to expand through acquisitions in Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire bringing its annual turnover to £19.7m.
Elisabeth Bellamy joins the firm in the newly created role, part of a 12-strong management team, following the merger with Chester-based Drummonds Solicitors at the end of September where she was managing partner for 11 years.
Bellamy said: "I was delighted to accept the new role following the merger and will be drawing on my extensive experience gained both at Drummonds and a number of top 30 UK firms before that. Linder Myers is a fast growing business with great ambitions and my role will involve managing the IT, HR, compliance and training functions to ensure effective integration following recent growth."

Established in 1922, Linder Myers has enjoyed a period of rapid growth with a succession of mergers and acquisitions in recent years. These have included mergers with Scott Lister in Manchester (2008), Rostron's in Lancashire (2009), Moss & Poulson in Shropshire (2009), Apfel Carter in Lancashire (2010) the acquisition of Rowlands Field Cunningham in a pre-pack deal in Manchester (2011), the merger with Senior Calveley & Hardy (September 2012) and the acquisition of SNG Commercial Law (September 2012).
Linder Myers has 315 employees, including 51 partners, in total across its offices in Manchester, Shropshire, Lancashire and Cheshire.
