Lawyer expands on Duke’s estate
Ellis Whittam, a fixed-fee law firm, is building a 7,500 sq ft extension to its office in Aldford on the Duke of Westminster's Eaton Estate in west Cheshire.
The space will house Ellis Whittam's growing legal, health and safety, commercial and head office support teams and aims to enhance the company's existing workspace by providing state of the art facilities for a significant number of additional employees.
The project is being delivered by Grosvenor Estate and is due for completion in autumn 2012. The contractor is Read Construction and the architect is Tweed Nuttall Warburton.
Deven Thakrar, chief executive of Ellis Whittam, said: "Our planned expansion is a significant milestone for our company. Not only does it mark the realisation of our medium term growth ambitions, but also our commitment to the local community and region going forward."
Becky Jam, managing the project on behalf of Grosvenor Estate, said: "The development is illustrative of how vibrant the local community is in terms of opportunities to work, rest and play. Ellis Whittam has been a tenant of the Estate's for nearly ten years and it's great to see the business continue to grow. We are delighted to work with them and to support their continued expansion."
