Helena Partnerships picks Paragon

Manchester-based Paragon Interiors Group North West has won a £1m fit out contract with housing association Helena Partnerships at its new headquarters on Corporation Street in St Helens.

The contract, which was won through a tender process, involves Paragon working with Savills to deliver the interior design and build.

The new 23,000 sq ft headquarters will be a head office for 230 staff and will also include a meeting space for local people and organisations. The fit-out is due to commence in August this year and is expected to take eight weeks to complete.

Mike Millward, from the building consultancy team at Savills, said: "Paragon's presentation stood out as one that put the client at the centre of the design, featuring creative yet practical concepts that accommodate a variety of needs for the housing association. In Paragon we have found a fit-out firm who will become a true partner to support us in supplying Helena Partnerships with a resource that will benefit its employees and local community."

Designed by KKA Architects, the three storey glass-clad building from developers Milston will be known as Helena Central. Pochin Construction won a building contract last year on the development.

Helena Partnerships owns over 12,500 properties in St Helens.
