FedEx signs at Manchester Airport

MAG Developments, the property arm of the Manchester Airports Group, has secured its fifth new tenant of the year at the World Freight Terminal.

FedEx Trade Networks Transport & Brokerage (UK) has agreed a three-year lease at £10/sq ft for Building 303 – a recently refurbished unit totalling approximately 4,000 sq ft.

Stephanie Mullenger, business development director for MAG Developments, said: "We have been extremely pleased with the ongoing success of the World Freight Terminal. Despite the current economic situation where many other schemes have struggled to secure new tenants, we have continued to attract occupiers and this is primarily due to the unique location of the World Freight Terminal, its unrivalled amenities, the quality of accommodation being offered together with our ability to adopt a proactive approach to reasonable demands by prospective tenants in a difficult market."

Altrincham-based property consultants, Regional Property Solutions, acted on behalf of MAG Developments. King Sturge represented FedEx.
