Electrical supplier opens North West branch

Legacy Portfolio has let 19,371 sq ft to independent wholsesaler Moss Electrical on Europa Way in Trafford Park.

Moss Electrical has a strong presence in the South but the Trafford Park unit will be the company's first branch in the North West.

GVA advised Legacy Portfolio, assigning a sub-lease at a rental of £95,500/year. Ruth Leighton, associate at GVA, said: "This is a highly significant deal for the North West as the company has chosen the region as an important new base for its business. Moss Electrical looked at a number of options but chose Trafford Park due to its high specification and its central location with immediate access to the M60 and M62."

Tim Lowe, for Legacy Portfolio, commented:" We were delighted to grant Moss a lease until 2019 on this prominent corner site, and wish them every success in their business venture."

Moss Electrical will move into Trafford Park in November 2011.
