Colliers International has hired John Brannigan from Bilfinger GVA as associate director in its building surveying and project management team.
Brannigan spent 11 years at Bilfinger GVA as a chartered surveyor, specialising in project management, contract administration, project monitoring, surveys, and dilapidations for various types of buildings and sectors including offices, industrial, retail, healthcare and education.
His previous clients included Mansford LLP, Lynton Developments and Dunedin Property.
Based in Colliers’ new Manchester office at Chancery Place, John will largely cover the North West, whilst also working closely with Nick Twigg, head of building consultancy for the Northern region, to support the growth of the team’s client base across the North.
Nick Twigg, director of Colliers International, said: “John brings extensive experience in all areas of building surveying, including refurbishment, survey work, dilapidations and new build. This diverse expertise will be invaluable to our team, as we strive for increased market share across the Northern region.
“John’s appointment follows that of Paul Harris, who joined our Manchester office in October and Mark Alcock, who joined our Leeds office. These three latest senior appointments further demonstrate our continued drive to grow the team with the appointment of experts in building surveying and project management.”
