Caddick hires pair of managers

The firm’s development arm has appointed Jonny Whiteley as land manager, following the addition of Tom Park as development manager late last year.

Whiteley joins from housebuilder Taylor Wimpey, where he spent more than four years, while Park was most recently an asset manager at logistics developer Canmoor, a position he held for five years.

At Caddick Developments, Whiteley will focus on the company’s residential offer, including its single-family build-to-rent product. Park’s remit is the firm’s logistics schemes, including the 600,000 sq ft Farington Park, which recently won planning approval.

Both Whiteley and Park will work out of Caddick’s Manchester office, Neo, on Charlotte Street.

The appointments form part of parent firm Caddick Group’s wider expansion, which has seen a further three hires in recent weeks, one at its London office and two at its Yorkshire headquarters.

Myles Hartley, managing director of Caddick Developments, said: “Given the continued strong demand for logistics floorspace and need to deliver enough quality housing, Caddick is in a prime position to cater for demand across the North and Midlands, using the group’s breadth of services from site-sourcing through to construction.”
