N Brown tipped to buy High & Mighty

Manchester-based retail giant N Brown is preparing to buy outsized fashion specialist High & Mighty, according to reports in Retail Week.
Family-owned High & Mighty trades from 23 stores and has applied to appoint an administrator. Staff at High & Mighty reportedly say they have been told that N Brown will be taking over the business.
High & Mighty launched as a mail order business in 1956. N Brown set up men's over-sized rival Jacamo in 2007.
