MCI bolsters senior team
MCI Developments, part of national homebuilder Keepmoat Homes, has added Craig Murphy, Ian Sumner, Mark Nuttall, and Keiron Morley to its ranks as part of the firm’s growth plans.
Murphy joins as operations director from Keepmoat having spent the last 14 years with MCI’s parent company, the latter three in the role of regional managing director for Greater Manchester.
Meanwhile, Morley, head of technical, has also moved across from Keepmoat to Wigan-based MCI.
A third ex-Keepmoat employee, Sumner, left the firm for Seddon Construction last November after 11 years, but has joined MCI as construction director less than six months after his move.
Nuttal joined MCI as commercial director earlier this year having been out of work since April 2020 following the collapse of his previous employer, CPUK.
Alex Wood, managing director at MCI Developments, said: “The appointments mark an exciting new chapter for the company and we’re confident that their combined extensive knowledge of the industry and proven track record will help us achieve further success at MCI Developments and drive our continued growth plans in the area.”
MCI has a pipeline of residential projects in the North West including plans for 144 in Nelson in partnership with housing association Together Homes, and an additional 73 off Blackpool Road in Preston.
Great to see such a varied set of new additions. Really showing that they take diversity seriously!
