LUC promotes 10 in Manchester
The environmental consultancy celebrated the New Year with a raft of promotions across its UK offices.
A total of 67 employees moved up the ranks in the employee-owned company. Of those promoted, 10 are based in Manchester – the other 57 operate out of the consultancy’s Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London offices.
In Manchester, ecologist Sofie Swindlehurst was appointed associate director. Landscape architect Chris Cox and landscape planner Alex Burton were named principals. Planner Lucy Gara was promoted to planning associate.
Other team members who received promotions in Manchester include Ben Wayles, Beth Houston, Alistair Peet, Ife Asiyanbi, Sarah Newman, and Hannah Ward.
Jon Grantham, managing director of LUC, congratulated those who were promoted.
“I’m incredibly proud of every person achieving a promotion this year,” he said.
“The quality of projects delivered, multiple award-wins, and excellent client feedback seen in 2022 is a testament to the enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment of LUC’s staff,” Grantham continued.
“Being an employee-owned business, everyone at LUC sees and shares the results of their hard work. The dedication shown over the last year allows us to award generous promotions across the company.”
