LSH industrial head resigns

Andrew Aherne, head of industrial and logistics agency at Lambert Smith Hampton in Manchester, is to leave the firm later this year to establish his own consultancy.

Aherne joined LSH in 2007. He advised Peel Holdings on the 2.5m sq ft Wirral Waters development in Birkenhead, and Lancashire County Council on the 400,000 sq ft Lancashire Business Park in Leyland.

He worked on deals including Hermes Parcelnet's pre-let of a 153,500 sq ft distribution depot at Omega North in Warrington.

He is due to leave the company in November.

It is understood that associate director John Sullivan will lead the team, supported by assistant surveyor Leah Taylor.

Steve Williams, national head of LSH's industrial and logistics team, said: "Andrew has worked for Lambert Smith Hampton for over seven years and has made a valuable contribution in this time. We wish him every success for the future."

Directors Nick Davies and James Ogborn departed LSH in February to establish their own firm, Axis Property Consultancy. Richard Wackett, national head of rating based in the Manchester office, left in June for Montagu Evans.
