Group gears up for IFB professionals week
A group of companies including law firms Brabners and DWF, along with Professional Liverpool and Pro Manchester have met to start preparing for events as part of the professional services week in International Festival for Business 2014 which will include property content.
The meeting was led by Julie Simms, real estate partner at DWF, Maria Norfolk, head of finance at Liverpool Vision and Denise Walker, corporate legal partner at Brabners with representatives attending from Liverpool Law Society, Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants, Professional Liverpool and Professional Manchester, among others.
IFB 2014's professional and financial services week will run from Monday 30 June 2014.
IFB 2014 is a 50-day business festival hosted in Liverpool city region during June and July to champion UK businesses to new markets, new products and new partners.
A spokesman for Liverpool Vision said: "The professional and financial services group will look to facilitate the delivery of a diverse programme of business focused, professional and financial services themed events as part of the Festival that will promote the best of British business, industry and manufacturing.
"Comprising more than 100 world-class events, the festival is a key part of the Government's ambition to promote economic growth, rebalance the economy and double UK exports by 2020."
