Globe delivers Your Housing HQ

Globe Construction has been appointed by MEPC to build the new 35,000 sq ft headquarters for Your Housing Group in Birchwood Park.

The £4m project was the second won by Globe at Birchwood Park, following the completion of the 47,500 sq ft 305 Bridgewater Place in 2012. The Your Housing building will be a similar design to 305 Bridgewater Place.

Jonathan Walsh, MEPC Birchwood Park's managing director, said "This is the second pre-let that we have secured in 12 months from an organisation that is looking to centralise its business to one location here in the North West. Globe Construction is a local firm with a proven track record of delivering high quality schemes across the region and, having worked with them recently on 305 Bridgewater Place, they were the ideal partner for this project."

The project team includes Warrington Martin acting as employer's agent, BDP designed the building and will be acting as structural engineer, Crookes Walker is the mechanical and electrical consultant and safety advice by Scott Hughes.
