French firm takes floor at Birchwood Boulevard

Atos has signed a five-year lease for 10,000 sq ft at the Warrington office building, which is owned by Betfred’s Fred Done.

Atos is headquartered in France and boasts 112,000 employees across the world. The company specialises in digital services, such as cybersecurity, quantum computing, and artificial intelligence.

The deal for the first floor of 110 Birchwood Boulevard was signed on Friday. Atos will pay £18.50/sq ft as per the agreement.

Knight Frank, BE Group, and Avison Young are the joint letting agents for 110 Birchwood Boulevard. Spring4 acted for Atos in the deal.

Atos is the first tenant at the newly renovated, 30,000 sq ft building, which Done acquired last year. Office suites of between 3,700 sq ft and 19,365 sq ft are still available.

The three-storey 110 Birchwood Boulevard has an EPC rating of B. There are 157 spaces for cars to park at the building.

110 Birchwood Boulevard sits near Junction 21A of the M6 and Junction 10 of the M62.

Mark Bamber, an associate in Knight Frank’s office agency team, said: “110 Birchwood Boulevard has undergone an extensive refurbishment to provide best-in-class office space and amenities, including cycle storage, showers, EV charging, and business lounge facilities required by modern occupiers.

“In addition, the building benefits from good access to the shopping centre and train station,” Bamber said.

Warrington is not Atos’s first foray into the North West. The company also has offices in Preston, Liverpool, Crewe, and Whitehaven.
