Fisher German appoints North West partner

Alex Isles has joined the property consultancy from JLL, where he was an associate.

As the firm’s newest partner, Isles will work across Fisher German’s Manchester, Knutsford, and Chester offices to advise clients on the disposal and acquisition of development land, as well as aiding them in crafting strategies on how to maximise their property portfolios.

Isles has more than 10 years of experience in the North West built environment scene, having worked at Roger Hannah and Cushman & Wakefield in addition to JLL.

Luke Brafield, partner at Fisher German, welcomed Isles to the company, saying that Isles “has a strong track record in the development industry across the North West, so brings a wealth of expertise and market knowledge to the firm that will strengthen our service offering to clients”.

He continued: “There are significant opportunities as the region looks to meet housebuilding targets, and Alex is perfectly placed to support the firm in capitalising on these.”

As for Isles, he said he was “extremely pleased” to join Fisher German.

“The firm has an exceptional reputation within the industry and a well-established development team working right across the UK,” he said.

“The North West is chronically undersupplied for residential development land, and Fisher German has strong landowner links meaning there is significant opportunity for the firm to support with housing numbers,” Isles continued.

“I will be looking to push forward with those opportunities, further growing our presence across the North West and ensuring that Fisher German is a competing agency, not only on the strategic side, but on the disposal of immediate land to help the region meet its housing targets.”

Fisher German has 26 offices across the UK with a staff of more than 800.  The company provides a variety of services, including consultancy on planning, business rates, development, and infrastructure, as well as property management.
