Firms take 17,000 sq ft at Oldham Broadway
Office stationery supplier Viking and local finance company PMD have each taken a floor at the 25,000 sq ft No1 Howarth Court.
Oldham Broadway Business Park comprises eight buildings and is located just off the M60, three miles west of the town centre.
Viking has agreed a five-year lease on the building’s 8,410 sq ft first floor.
PMD will occupy 8,430 on the ground floor, signing a 10-year lease.
Both firms have relocated to No1 Howarth Court from elsewhere within the complex.
The building is asset managed by David Samuel Asset Management in behalf of xxx.
Jordan Gold, asset manager at David Samuel, said: “These latest deals show us that the out-of-town office market remains resilient in current times, as occupiers continue to seek top-quality, well-connected office accommodation.
“We hope to announce the final occupier in the coming months.”
Cushman & Wakefield and Avison Young advised the landlord on the deal.
Toby Nield, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s offices team in Manchester, said: “Broadway Business Park is a sought-after location for firms looking for well-connected space that offers easy access to Oldham and wider regions. It is testament to the landlord’s proactive and flexible approach that we have been able to secure these lettings.
“Further investment into refurbishing the top floor has sparked interest from potential occupiers, and we should be announcing further letting success soon.”
