Europa for sale for £36m

Aprirose Real Estate Investment has put a 592-bedroom student accommodation block in Liverpool on the market with a £36.35m price tag.

A sale at the asking price would represent a net initial yield of 5.25%.

Europa on Manfred Street is let to Nicelock until March 2030, at a rent of £2m a year.

Knight Frank has been appointed to sell the freehold interest in the building, which is opposite the Royal University teaching hospital.

Shaun Roy, head of specialist investment team, Knight Frank, said: "There is a real scarcity of high quality student accommodation on the market, especially held on fixed lease rather than direct let. Aprirose is capitalising on this fact."
