District Estates to set ‘new benchmark’ for Chester office market
The refurbishment of the vacant Nicholas House would provide 20,000 sq ft of workspace to meet growing demand.
District Estates is aiming to complete the internal and external upgrades of the four-storey asset by spring, at which time suites starting from 4,800 sq ft would become available.
Will Sadler, director of Legat Owen – one of two firms instructed to let the space – is enthusiastic about the scheme.
“Nicholas House will deliver high-quality, energy-efficient workspace in the heart of Chester at a time when demand for Grade A supply continues to grow,” he said.
“This refurbishment will set a new benchmark for office accommodation in the city centre.”
BA Commercial are also instructed on the building.
District Estates acquired Nicholas House for £2.2m in 2002, according to Land Registry.
