Details of next Sutton Kersh sale released
Sutton Kersh will be offering 67 lots at its next auction on 8 April. It is the largest catalogue to be offered on Merseyside this year.
Residential properties account for a large proportion of the catalogue with many well priced vacant terraced properties for sale. Lot 29, a three bedroom mid terrace property on Langton Road in Wavertree is attracting much investor interest. Currently let to four students and producing an annual rental income of £12,500+, the recently refurbished property is guided at £90,000+.
A substantial investment and redevelopment opportunity on Bold Street in Liverpool city centre is also up for grabs. The existing licensed restaurant, Asha, has been trading since 1964. The building is arranged over five floors and includes a basement that is used for storage, an open plan seating area on the ground floor that is capable of servicing 100 covers and three upper floors that are suitable for conversion to individual apartments, subject to the necessary planning consents. The building carries a guide price of £500,000+.
James Kersh, director of Sutton Kersh, said: " Now is as good a time as any for investors to buy. Whilst stock levels are lower, interest rates remain low and there are some very good investment opportunities available for anyone with finance available. I do believe that we have now seen the worst of the market in its present cycle. There are signs of recovery in the private treaty housing market and I expect values to remain stable over the coming months."
The auction will start at 12noon at the Marriot Hotel in Queen Square, Liverpool city centre.
