Cheadle Hulme recording studio for sale
A private pension fund has instructed Jones Lang LaSalle to sell Revolution Recording Studios in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
Over its 35 year history, recording artists including Eric Clapton, Iggy Pop, Snow Patrol, Take That and The Who, have all used Revolution Recording Studios.
The detached property is located on 11 Church Road and comprises a reception area, two control rooms, and five recording areas, although recording equipment is being sold separately.
Tom Cunningham, from Jones Lang LaSalle's licensed leisure team, who is advising on the building's sale, said: "This is a rare investor opportunity to acquire an established recording studio which has been at the forefront of music recording in the UK and host to a long list of successful artists, many of which, like New Order and 808 State are synonymous with the Manchester music scene. Well equipped for its continued use as a recording studio, the future purchaser will no doubt have ideas on how to grow revenues further."
Jones Lang LaSalle said the building has an asking price of £410,000.
