Chancerygate plots 72,000 sq ft Bredbury sheds
The £16m scheme would be called Cromwell Park and feature 10 units ranging from 2,000 sq ft to 22,000 sq ft.
In total, Chancerygate’s Bredbury proposals feature 72,140 sq ft of industrial and warehouse space.
Cromwell Park would be constructed on a four-acre site off Castle Hill, immediately north of the Allied Bakeries’ complex.
The site is allocated for redevelopment into employment uses and is one of the last remaining developable sites at Bredbury Park.
UMC Architects is advising Chancerygate on the scheme and Hourigan Connelly is the planning consultant.
The agents for Cromwell Park are Williams Sillitoe and Cushman & Wakefield.
“Our plans for Cromwell Park aim to meet the significant demand for high-quality, new-build industrial space,” said Chancerygate development manager Chris Brown.
“With planning now submitted, we are looking forward to working with Stockport Council to bring a much-needed, high specification industrial and warehousing development to Bredbury.”
Chancerygate’s Cromwell Park is located close to Quorum’s proposed 1m sq ft Bredbury Gateway development.
Stockport Council refused Quroum’s plans, which would span 76-acres between Bredbury Industrial Estate and the River Tame, claiming the development would harm the Green Belt. Quorum has appealed the refusal.
Looking forward to seeing this new scheme develop out so close to home.
