Castle Green plans 70 Flintshire houses
The North Wales-based housebuilder has unveiled proposals to deliver a mix of terraced, semi-detached, and detached properties on the vacant six-acre plot off Green Lane in Ewloe.
Castle Green Homes has launched a consultation on its plans to build 70 houses in the Flintshire village. The consultation will run until 7 November and can be accessed at castlegreenhomes.uk.
Proposals for the development feature 12 two-, 46 three-, and five four-bedroom houses.
Of the 70 homes, 28 are proposed to be affordable.
There would be two acres of public open space provided, while residents would also have access to a minimum of two car parking spaces per property.
The six-acre plot forms part of a larger site, allocated to provide a total of 298 homes in the current Flintshire County Council Local Development Plan. Therefore, the scheme would make a “positive contribution to meeting local housing needs” in Flintshire, according to a planning statement.
The project team includes SCP, Ascerta, and TPM Landscape.
We need more housing, but its a shame these are same old predictable small houses with zero storage, parking, gardens, space and no solar, how will they be sustainable?
