Calderpeel promotes 11
Following its management buyout in October, the architecture firm has appointed a number of team members to associate, associate director and director level.
Now with Mark Massey, Ewen Miller and Andy Lightfoot at the helm, the Altrincham and Sheffield practice said it is poised for growth, with the promotions being a demonstration of its commitment to continuing professional development.
Promoted to associate are Melanie Sheridan, Chris Littler, Amanda Boynes, Christine Roles, Mike Park, Chris Stubbs and Richard Moore.
Adam Granby, Huss Al Alwan and Nick McKinnon have assumed the role of associate director, with Chris Parks being elevated to director.
Recent Calderpeel projects include Salboy’s ongoing residential scheme at Castle Irwell in Salford.
Co-owner Ewen Miller, partner at Calderpeel Architects, said: “People are truly our best asset – we simply don’t have a business without our employees, so we’re very keen to give recognition when and where deserved.
“We’re committed to supporting and developing the next generation of talent and by investing in our staff we can ensure that we’re subsequently giving the absolute best service to our clients.
“Under new ownership and with a raft of talented, promoted individuals, we’re stepping into 2024 with a positive outlook and are excited to see what the new year will bring.”
Calderpeel was established in 1992, and changed hands in last year’s MBO. Two of its partners are past presidents of the Manchester Society of Architects.
Well done.
