Bruntwood lifted by Liverpool swell
Bruntwood reported five lettings at Cotton Exchange, Exchange Court and Queens Insurance Building in Liverpool.
Law firm John Pickering & Partners relocated to Exchange Court on Dale Street, expanding its occupation to 2,500 sq ft from another of Bruntwood's buildings, 19 Castle Street.
Shopping mall promotions specialist Access Point UK signed a lease on 1,980 sq ft in the Grade 2-listed Cotton Exchange, its first office in the city centre, with a view to growing its staff base. Access Point's head office is in Southport.
Catherine Higgins Solicitors expanded its office to 1,300 sq ft in Cotton Exchange.
Paintbox Art Media signed for 1,400 sq ft in Queens Insurance Building after initially taking the space on a 'try before you buy' basis. In the same building, internet marketing agency PH Creative has extended its space by 200 sq ft.
David Seddon, head of sales for Bruntwood, said: "We have seen a growing trend in existing customers looking for additional office space but not wanting to move offices completely. Securing a new customer, such as Access Point, is a fantastic letting for the building and testament to the recently refurbished reception and common parts."
David Robertshaw, managing director of Access Point said: "We decided to move to the centre of Liverpool following our plans to expand the company. The city offers a bigger pool of people to recruit from and more scope to grow the staff base."
