Bruntwood expands office move incentive scheme
Commercial property landlord Bruntwood is offering one-month contracts and office rents starting at £95 a month in the next phase of its marketing activity in Liverpool.
The terms are an extension to Bruntwood's existing Move for Free offer, which involves Bruntwood covering the removal costs of businesses relocating to one of its nine properties across the city, as well as providing rent-free periods and free office design services.
Bruntwood says it has seen inquiries increase 83% year-on-year since launching the scheme in May. Its Liverpool properties include Cotton Exchange, The Plaza and Oriel Chambers.
Colin Sinclair, director of property marketing at Bruntwood, said: "When we introduced Move for Free earlier this year, we hoped it would be an innovative way to help Liverpool-based businesses realise their growth potential without the hassle or expense normally associated with moving, and that has proven to be the case.
"The level of take-up has been extremely encouraging and has led to us securing an additional 23 deals in the city centre and north Liverpool in less than six months.
"However, we felt there was still something else we could offer in terms of flexibility, so we have moved to ensure the needs of every type of business are catered for by offering more affordable terms under Move for Free Plus.
"By offering terms as short as a month and offices from only £95 a month we are doing even more to help start-ups and growing small and medium sized businesses to succeed."
